There's Nothing "little" about Little Debbie

I don't know why I do it. I work out and squat and lunge and crunch, only to ruin it at the end of the day. Sure I've eaten rice cakes and spinach and lots of things green. But when the kids go to bed, I'm starving. I've eaten nothing but styrofoam and fiber all day.

I know they're in there, those Little Debbie snack cakes. They're for the occasional dessert for the kids' lunches. I don't even really like them, but somehow I need to have one, or six. Last night was oatmeal creme pies. I don't even like oatmeal creme pies that much. But I have no power over the pre-packaged desserts. I hate her, Little Debbie, harlot of the snack world.

Aagh. What's a girl to do?

Christy,
You have me almost in tears laughing! Oh, if only it weren't true for all of us.

CRISTI!

Yes, I just "yelled" at you. But I'm just *so glad* you're in blogland! I miss your sense of humor. You have made me happy.

I just couldn't leave a comment on a post that had the word sp--um in it...you're absolutely right to change your career plans. I completely understand how a word could have that effect. ANYWAY...just wanted to say, thanks for leaving a comment - comments are so much fun, especially when the readership is mostly lurkers (or just not many readers). I will be back, thanks to my Google reader (I can SUBSCRIBE to you!), and I will leave comments if they make you as happy as they make me. :-)

Love you guys - email us sometime and let us know how things are going! And hey, if you ever want a vacation to middle-of-nowhere PA, we've got a hotel-sized house you can stay in!
